Dwane Richardson
Dwane Richardson, Presdent of Richardson Jumpstarters, founded our company in 1982. We enjoyed rapid growth in the Kansas City area by building reliable products and placing a heavy emphasis on customer service. Our customers spread the word and Richardson Jumpstarters grew to cover Kansas and Missouri.
Many customers expressed a need for safer, higher powered jump starters for large trucks, construction and military vehicles. Dwane responded by adding staff for research and development. He invested heavily in new technologies to make Richardson Jumpstarters safer and more effective. The result of this investment was the first polarity protected cable activated jump starting system.
Next we engineered the Smart Start System, the “first true reverse polarity protection” in the industry. With this safe and dependable jump starter our company was able to expand to national and international sales.

As the reputation of our high-end scientific jump starter grew, Richardson Jumpstarters added distributors and military reps. Today, Richardson jump starters can be found at locations across North America and on many military bases.
Through continued research and development in 2007 Richardson Jumpstarters introduced another first to the jump starting industry. The “Computer Controlled Jump Starter”.
The ALL NEW AUTOMATIC SAFETY START is a patent pending, easy to use; safe and effective jump starter. The Automatic Safety Start is capable of performing diagnostics on the vehicle being started. It is the most advanced jump starter made.
Richardson Jumpstarters plans to continue to make jump starting safer and easier for everyone by applying science to jump-starting.
